Tuscany, la Pietra, Cortona - the original historic house with its beautiful stone interior stairway dates back to the 1200's and the time of St. Francis. Three bedrooms, all with private baths and adjoining rooms with additional sleeping arrangements handle groups of 4-6. Swimming pool, and stunning views to the valley below and the hills beyond where Hannibal defeated the Romans at the Battle of Trasimeno in 200 BC.
